Christmas Saves The Year

It’s Christmas come early for the clique as twenty one pilots drop their sweet offering for the Holidays.

Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun became our real-life Santas, cheering up the world with the surprise release of their latest single, ‘Christmas Saves The Year.’ The track, which opens with the sound of sleigh bells and strings, reflects the Ohio outfit’s optimism about Christmas being the redeeming facet of 2020 while serving some commentaries on how the world has struggled– and is still struggling– in this terrible year.

Released on December 9, the band explained on Twitter that the new song was written and recorded in Tyler’s home studio. “From us to you,” they said at the end of the announcement, before wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

‘Christmas Saves The Year’ is the GRAMMY® Award winning duo’s second single in 2020. The first one, released in April, is also centered around the theme of lockdown and is called ‘Level of Concern.‘ If you didn’t know, the band dropped a never-ending music video for it which features footage submitted by their fans.
