Do you miss Karaoke? We do too, it is one of the best experiences you can do with friends. And since we are all still in lockdown — here are our top Karaoke Songs of the ’90s.

Why the ’90s? Simply because I don’t think there was a better time than the ’90s for the music industry.

After all, the ’90s gave birth to a whole range of karaoke hits. If you’re looking for some inspiration, here are our top choices of songs from the 90s that people haven’t stopped jamming to.

TLC’s “Waterfalls”

Waterfalls is one of the greatest hits of TLC.  The song is memorable not just for its lyrics as well – “Don’t go chasing waterfalls. Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you’re used to’ but because of how the rhythm and melody allow you to dance your worries awya! With this song, you’ll have a memorable and lyrically brilliant karaoke night.

TLC’s “Waterfalls”

A true karaoke necessity. The Britney hit song became a classic bop after its release. It was the perfect teen pop song for a karaoke night with your friends.

Green Day’s “Basketcase”

There’s nothing like a Green Day song to let out all your frustrations. For those of you who do not recognize them, they were the “Two Pilots” of the ’90s. Basket Case in particular is quite the song, it speaks out about anxiety and letting out one’s feelings.

Truly makes for a great karaoke sing-off that will probably alert the police.

Ace Of Base’s “I Saw The Sign”

One of the biggest hits from Ace of Base. I Saw The Sign is a cult classic. It reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States Of America and has topped many local charts in its day.  Also, it is and will always be one of the staple karaoke songs in the Philippines.

Cranberries’ “Zombie”

And who will ever forget the iconic Zombie? One of the most played hits of the ’90s that is truly a favourite. I dare say even that no Karaoke night will be complete without playing this song.

Any other karaoke song from the ’90s you recommend?
