Twenty One Pilots’ track ‘Chlorine’ from their latest album, Trench, has been certified platinum.
Platinum certification is equal to 1 million sales.
‘Chlorine’ comes from the Ohio-based band’s album Trench, released in 2018 after a long hiatus that drove the fans into insanity. It has 18 tracks and peaked at 32nd spot on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 and 1st on the Billboard US alternative song. Other notably successful tracks in the album are Jumpsuit and Nico and the Niners.
Chlorine’s official music video came out in January the previous year, driving fans into a state of confusion with its cryptic symbolisms led by the fictional character Ned.
Go relive that first encounter with the cute and creepy Ned.
Chlorine reaching platinum is the latest among the series of milestones that the duo has been reaching. Also this month, fans celebrated over the news that their 2015 album ‘Blurryface’ has surpassed 4 billion streams on Spotify alone. It also remains to be the most successful album by a group of all time.
Trench by twenty one pilots can be streamed on Spotify and other digital streaming platforms worldwide.
