Bryan Estepa
If you want to break free from the toxicity of our everyday lives, perhaps, it’s good to chill for a while and stream the brand new song of Bryan Estepa, ‘Admit now, Pay Later’. Driven by intricately playful instrumentation and wistful alternative-country melodies, this track by Filipino-Australian singer-songwriter, Bryan Estepa feels more like coming to terms with life’s curveballs.
“It was also one of the few songs that was born during the heaviest period of the COVID lockdowns here in Sydney and I had a really unexpected creative burst. When that happens, I try to ride the wave as long as I can. Lyrically this song touches on how quickly life can change both for the good and the bad but just as importantly is how we react to it. There’s never gonna be a perfect response to life’s curve balls but we just deal with it the best we can.””-Bryan Estepa
Released under Lilystars Records, ‘Admit now, Pay Later’, is one of the few songs that was born during the heaviest period of the COVID lockdowns according to Estepa. The folk-rock artist also added that he really had an unexpected creative burst during that time, so he gave it a shot.
With no doubt, Estepa truly flaunts the beauty of music in his own beautiful and unexpected ways. I am betting also that this track could lessen one’s stressed mind, so better to share it now with your friends and family as well! You can stream it on different digital and streaming platforms worldwide via Lilystars Records.
Project Orange
Indie bedroom pop-rock band, Project Orange can refresh your burn-out minds with their newly-released track, ‘Play Pretend’. Oh! What’s more, you can find them amusing just like the cherry melodies and breezy pop sensibilities of Clairo and Boy Pablo.
Wanna know why? Try to give them a listen below!
Gaining traction outside of Bacolod City, heir maiden singles “Ctrl + Esc” and “Sputnik Sweetheart,” earned streaming listenership on cities such as Taipei, Manila, and Hong Kong—a proof that their brand of music sees no boundaries, and resonates on a universal level. Aren’t they amazing?
Composed of Diana “Moose” Mapa, Ann Marie Pillado, Martin Garces, and Miguel Gabriel San Miguel, this promising quartet usually releasing tracks with growing pains of young love and the unsteady circumstances that define it. The four-piece outfit also employs a lush and dream-like palette in terms of musical approach.
“Too many people get caught up with the immense amount of music elements these days and I try to avoid that. The additional portions like the distorted guitar and synths were suggested by the producers in the studio and it added a stunning perspective to the song.” expressed by their lead vocalist, Diana Mapa.
Lyrically, “Play Pretend” demands to be felt and know that it is the third official single of indie-pop collective, Project Orange under Lilystar Records. Stream it now and more of their tracks on digital platforms including Spotify!
