The boys from Ohio also have something for us to keep our sanity in place.

A track called ‘Level of Concern’ has just been released.

Level of Concern

On April 6, band vocalist Tyler Joseph first took to twitter for the announcement on the upcoming single.

He followed it with a series of follow-up tweets, saying that this was the first song he wrote on electric guitar, and that a part of the song’s earnings would be donated to Crew Nation, a global relief fund made to support live music crews who have lost jobs  due to COVID-19 pandemic calling off concerts.

And then today, April 10, 2020, at the stroke of midnight, the official music video was released– just four days after the initial announcement.

Panic on the brain, world has gone insane
Things are starting to get heavy

Level of Concern is the band’s latest single, released at a time when everyone’s hungry for distraction. It carries a message that offers relief for our lockdown anxieties. The lyrics include lines like: “Wondering, would you be my little quarantine, or is this the way it ends?

The video shows how the two members of the band recorded the song and the video separately in their respective houses, passing back and forth the files containing their progress. This concept for the video was already hinted by Tyler on a tweet made the same day as the announcement.

Then, there’s Ro.

Rosie Robert Joseph, the firstborn of Tyler and his wife Jenna Joseph, also makes an appearance on the video together with her mother. As you can see, they’re part of the shooting process, providing extra hands to Tyler especially with the camera. On Josh Dun’s part, the band drummer is also being assisted by his fiance, ‘Insatiable’ star Debby Ryan.

twenty one pilots has recently made it to the headlines for a series of milestones. First, their album ‘Blurryface’ has already surpassed four billion streams on Spotify. And then a song called Chlorine from their 2018 album, Trench, was certified platinum.
