New song, different vibe. That’s what The Metro Fantastic promised as per their announcement of their new release for Valentine’s Day. True enough, they delivered just that with the mesmerizing ‘There’s No Place For December’.

There’s No Place For December

Those who know TMF would agree that this band’s sound and performances are groovy, funky, and bursting with all-out energy. For their new single, however, The Metro Fantastic stepped back from their usual sound and gave something that’s overall refreshing for their listeners.

I swear my love I tried

I gave it all I could

I cared, I fought, I cried

I tried to make it good

Captivating, painful, and such a beautiful song the ‘There’s No Place For December Avenue’ is. It’s not only something new for the band, but what the lyrics and the music resonated within me while listening to it is something I haven’t felt in a long time with OPM tracks. This song is salvation, every verse is simply glorious and the music is a masterpiece.

Not to mention, the ending is such an amazing preach. The emotions etched in every word was such a cathartic experience that will make you ask for more. What can I say? I honestly really loved this song to bits!
