Submission takes their 2018 hit ‘Chasing Sunsets’ and stripped it down to the bones!
You can now enjoy the stripped-down version of the 2018 track ‘Chasing Sunsets’ by Submission! Taken from their ‘Catharsis’ album, they’ve completely mellowed out their otherwise electro-rock song, ‘Chasing Sunsets’. Give it a listen today!
Submission is an indie band from the south of Metro Manila that was first formed back in 2014. And originally they were an alternative rock band, but then transitioned to electro-rock in 2018. They’ve shared that they take inspiration from artists such as LANY, HONNE, and The 1975.
Also, they are composed of Alec Densing (Bass), Franz Fathil (Drums), Kanna de Guzman (Vocals), and Chunick Tato (Guitar).
Although we just have to say that we’re totally vibing the overall aesthetic of Submission. We mean, with all the soft pink hues it somehow reminds us of ‘Pink Skies’ by LANY.

A word of advice, don’t dismiss ‘Chasing Sunsets’ as just as repost track. Because not only have they stripped it down, they’ve also rebuilt it from the ground up. And with it, we have a newfound appreciation for the lyrics that we didn’t quite catch the first time around. In one word, ‘Chasing Sunsets’ by Submission is stellar!

Overall, we adore the stripped-down version of ‘Chasing Sunsets’ by Submission. Although we have to admit that the original electro-rock version caught our hearts first. But we definitely see ourselves kicking back while knocking back a few cold ones with this song!
