There’s really no doubt that our local music is getting more attention and we can’t get enough of these fresh songs released by our local bands!

In these times of panic and paranoia, we can really calm ourselves by listening to new music. In line with that, OPM serves us again another set of these fresh songs that will not just give us good vibes but also an opportunity to discover and support our local music bands!

With that being said, here’s our OPM Disc for this week that listed some songs you might like!

Brisom

After their hit single, ‘Balewala’, Brisom decided to composed an English song again. This four-pieced popwave outfit from Manila, Philippines, who has a modern retro sound with a mix of wide synth landscape and infectious melodic hooks, released a song that is all about reaching to someone in times of depression or fighting one’s demons and encouraging them to continue with their lives.  At times like this, a lot of us have undergone through tougher situations and their band hopefully can lend someone a hand through their song, ‘Choose’.

Moreover, their new single was produced by Brisom and DJ Joey SAntos with the help of Heinrich Bernabe and recorded by DJ Joey at Love one another sound production. Additionally, they will release the music video of their single on March 16 which was directed by Dominic Baekert of Zoopraxis studio. What’s more? This band is currently working on their upcoming album to be released under Viva Records at the latter part of this year.
