We have the freshest Glaiza de Castro song right here for you! Her latest track is a rendition of ‘Bato sa Buhangin’ as part of the Goyo movie soundtrack. And you can listen to it with us right here.

And you know what we love even more about this new Gliaza de Castro song? It’s that there’s more to it than just her.

How? Because Miguel Benjamin of Ben&Ben joins in the rendition of the classic song. And yes, it’s all for the Goyo movie soundtrack. That kind of makes this song a MIND BLOWING COLLAB, right?

If you’re dying to hear the song as interpreted by the Liway actress, you can listen to the full Glaiza de Castro song now. Just click on the video below.

If you’ve seen the movie Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral, you might even remember exactly where this song plays. Clue: It’s played in the latter part of the film.

And we think that with the lines below, you’ll remember exactly when that was.

Mahal kong Remedios,

As you may have noticed, the above words include a letter from Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral’s lead character. Apparently, it is a letter addressed to his sweetheart, Remedios. And if you’re familiar of how the story goes, you’d know that it’s quite (SPOILER ALERT!) bittersweet.

And we don’t know about you, but this definitely tugged hard at our heartstrings. Especially with the knowledge of what happened in Philippine history—with Goyo, Tirad pass, and Filipino and American soldiers. Plus everything else highlighted in the movie, like the promises between the young general and his sweetheart, this song really gives us some major feels!

You can read more about the film and their love story here.

And although the above video doesn’t exactly highlight the part where 1/2 of The Benjamins sings, you can Listen to the full Glaiza de Castro song with the Ben&Ben singer on Spotify.

And we have that right here for you too!

You’ll hear Miguel Benjamin (Miguel Guico) in this track starting 1:30 of the song. And we think his vocals are a great addition to the track, reinforcing its soul.

How ’bout you? What do you think of this Glaiza de Castro song? It definitely sets the stage for her upcoming film, Liway, for us. Does it do the same for you? Let us know in the commment section below! Or better yet, leave us a on Facebook and Twitter @UDoUPh. We’d love to hear from you!
