We don’t think we’ll ever get tired of Fern.’s sensual and sultry releases. Although ‘Falling For U’ feels very similar to ‘Dance For Me‘, giving us more of his original signature cool pop sound. And just like ‘Dance For Me’, ‘Falling For U’ is just oozing with texture. It’s like soft smooth velvet for your ears.

Overall, the lyrics of ‘Falling For U’ by Fern. is something that hits a bit too close to home for us, and not exactly in a good way. It’s that part of yourself where you reject offerings of love simply because you feel like you don’t deserve it. And it’s especially evident when Fern. sings:

Look past thru the beauty, lady
Cos I’m only gonna break your heart, baby

It’s that part of yourself you don’t really want to face—when you think you’re not good enough or worth anybody’s time. And we don’t know about you, but it reminds us of that famous line from the film ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’:

“We accept the love we think we deserve.”

But in the end, you don’t always get to choose who you fall for.
