Get ready for another heart-rending performance by Lady Gaga as she belts out ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ for the American people on January 20.

This year’s inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be one-of-a-kind for many reasons. Aside from the obvious, which is the fact it’s President-elect Joe Biden who will become the 46th president of the United States, the ceremony is gonna take place in the midst of a raging pandemic. Another thing is that pop megastar Lady Gaga is the artist chosen to sing the national anthem for the swearing-in ceremony.

YES! It’s our Mother Monster, who has proven time and time again that she’s one of the GOATs artistically and vocally, who’ll be doing us the favor to headline for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as they take the oath of office.

The ‘Biden Inaugural Committee’ revealed on Twitter the selection of personalities and performers leading the inaugural festivities. Gaga will be joined by Jennifer Lopez, who is also set to pump up the nation with a musical performance. The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Andrea Hall, a career firefighter from Georgie, while Amanda Gorman, the first-ever National Youth Poet Laureate will recite poetry. Fr. Leo O’Donovan will be delivering an invocation, while Reverend Dr. Silvester Beaman will be in charge of benediction.

Well, it’s not like Gaga’s never done this before. It’s not like the crowd at Super Bowl 50 in 2016 didn’t feel their patriotism climbing to the highest level when Gaga offered her clean, clear, but powerful rendition of the US national anthem. There’s no question if her upcoming performance is gonna leave another long-lasting impact on people’s hearts.

Do you think Gaga is the best choice to sing the national anthem on January 20?
