Since we are all been hunkered down because of the Pandemic, it’s true that we cannot save ourselves from anxieties and depression. Gladly enough, there are few people who are trying to comfort us and still reminding us that it is okay not to be okay.

Ok Not To Be Ok” is an uplifting track from the international superstars, Demi Lovato and Marshmello dropped in partnership with Hope For The Day timed to Global Suicide Prevention Day. It was written by the artist duo, Gregory “Aldae” Hein, James Gutch, and James Nicholas Bailey.

Wanna be comforted with this song? Give it a listen below as the superstars also unveiled their official music video alongside the release of its track.

It’s Okay

After releasing ‘I Love Me’, Demi’s most recent single that encourages everyone to see themselves past their flaws, she’s definitely back again to give empowerment through ‘Ok Not to be Ok’. Digging a little more, her track’s emotive lyrics serve as a humbling reminder that it’s ok to let go of feelings of self-doubt and embrace the fact that we’re all human.

“Take a moment today to check in with yourself and your loved ones,”- Demi Lovato

In line with the song and official video’s message, the Hope For The Day partnership will see both artists advocating using their platforms and voices to uplift others and help provide resources for those that need it most. Their wistful official video is directed by Hannah Lux Davis who transports the two artists back to the ’90s as they awake in their childhood bedrooms.

Overall, we can say that this kind of uplifting track is what we really need during this time. Don’t forget to share this with your friends and loved ones!
