Reese Lansangan’s ‘A Song About Space’ rocketed in the latest promotional video from NASA!

“I am over the moon and I don’t think I’ll ever get over it…”

If you’re an outer space avid fan like our indie music artist, Reese Lansangan , of course it’s such a huge deal to be featured at NASA’s SpaceX campaign video. You can hear her track ‘A Song about Space’ which was written seven years ago playing in one of NASA‘s videos for its #LaunchAmerica campaign.  And we couldn’t be any prouder!

“They said they loved my super old and embarrassing “A Song About Space” video from my channel and asked if they could possibly use it for a promo vid. Nothing was set in stone so after I got over the immediate shock of the NASA DM, I just silently hoped for the best. Then I got an email back with the video link, and in my pride I took all the screencaps!” expressed by Reese Lansangan on her instagram.

Check out below the said track that served as her “open letter to the universe.”

Additionally, #LaunchAmerica campaign aims to support NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley as they fly on SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft in Florida on May 27 (US time). More so, it also introduces a new era of spaceflight that returns the ability to launch astronauts to the United States for the first time since the end of the Space Shuttle Program in 2011.

If you’re interested about this campaign, NASA is currently searching out for fans who wants to be featured as they count down to #LaunchAmerica. Just submit  your photos and videos on social media and add the hashtag #LaunchAmerica for a chance to be featured!
