Have you seen our interview with December Avenue at Maskipaps 2018? Learn more about our quick chat with Zel Bautista right here!

December Avenue caused hearts to break during their set at Maskipaps: the Crossover 2018! I mean, come on. Their hit songs ‘Kung ‘Di Rin Lang Ikaw‘ and ‘Kahit Di Mo Alam‘ surely causes a whirlwind of emotions.

Luckily, as Zel Bautista was rushing to catch his flight, we were able to have a quick chat with him. Watch it right here now!

Zel Bautista (vocals/guitar) answered our questions for him. And this band member of the ever amazing December Avenue shared some good answers in just a short amount of time. Thank you, Zel!

“Overwhelming”, that’s how Zel Bautista described performing for everyone last December 14 at the Maskipaps 2018. The crowd was really huge! More than 14,000 attended the event and Zel added that it’s a very happy feeling for the entire band.

When asked what’s next for December Avenue on 2019, Zel shared that they will be releasing more singles! Ahhh, I don’t know if I’m excited or if I’m subconsciously preparing myself for the inevitable heartbreak.

And yes, more collaborations from December Avenue! Yes yes I know, it just means more heartbreak. Zel also added that hopefully, a full-length album as well! *Fingers crossed.*

Advice for aspiring artists

Of course, we asked Zel on some tips for you aspiring artists out there.

Zel Bautista reminds you guys to work very hard and make sure to write your own songs and materials. Always, always believe in yourself and your passion.

In the Philippine music industry, it’s really hard to make a name for yourself in the OPM world. If doors are not opening for you just yet, stay calm. Because as long as you’re there and your materials are ready, when the doors finally open, you’ll make it.

Such amazing tips from Zel Bautista, right? And to inspire you even more, listen to December Avenue’s songs!
