“Join us one last time.”
For many patrons jumping and dancing together with the rhythm of live music, Route 196 once again will open its door ‘virtually‘ for their farewell gig & fundraising event this coming September 12. We know that it’s totally saddening to know that the iconic music venue will close but to give us a memorable farewell, Route 169 holds its FREE STREAMING gig this week!
Yes, you have heard it right! We can watch our beloved OPM artists live on Route 196’s official page. See also the final line up below.
Third batch of our lineup and surprising you with 4 more bands who will join us via Facebook live on September 12! Catch @overoctoberph, @ebedancel, @johnoydanao, and @shesonlysixteen on your screens next Saturday.

Access to the gig is free, but of course, to raise funds for their staff, you can check the ‘Zoom Meet and Greet‘ with the performers for a fee. It will be done on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited to 25 people only per artist.
The bar announced its first wave of performers, which include bands that have all, at some point, shone on the Route 196 stage: Leanne & Naara, Lola Amour, Thesunmanager, and Banna Harbera.
As a thank you for all your love and support, we’re doing our final gig online to keep everyone well and safe (and it’s free, too!) If you’re interested to join the meet & greet, we’ll provide a google form for every batch of acts we’ll be releasing. Proceeds will further help our staff especially at this time.-Route 196
What’s more? looks like Route 196 prepared a pack of surprises for us. Aside from live gigs from our beloved OPM artist, they will be having live podcasts on Saturday featuring their resident tambays, Jim Bacarro, Sab Magalona , Oh! Flamingo , and #ForMeLangHa. The said artists will lead us to a memory lane to talk about their experiences and memories in Route 196.
We’re also having live podcasts on Saturday featuring our resident tambays.
Catch our friends @jimbacarro and @saabmagalona as they go down memory lane to talk about their experiences and memories in Route 196.
