BTS writes a new milestone in Kpop history! After breaking the internet with their ‘BE’ album plus their latest music video, the Kpop superstar group has been nominated for Grammy 2021!

As the Grammy revealed the nominees for next year, everyone is surprised with the incredible news that Kpop group BTS got nominated for the first time for the prestigious Grammy Awards. They are nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their hit song “Dynamite.”

No doubt that South Korea is celebrating this great feat! To deliver their gratitude for their solid fans, BTS ARMY who made it possible, the septet took to Twitter and posted a heartwarming message.

“Thank you to everyone who listened to and sympathized with our music during the difficult times. Above all, it is ARMYs who made the miracle of being a Grammy candidate. I always appreciate and love you. Thank you @RecordingAcad for this great honor!”

They are competing in the category with other creations of pop superstars, such as “Un Dia (One Day)” by J Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny & Tainy, “Rain On Me” by Lady Gaga with Ariana Grande, “Intentions” by Justin Bieber Featuring Quavo and “Exile” by Taylor Swift featuring Bon Iver!

Their latest track

With such a feel-good vibe and an inspiring message, BTS’s latest music video has surpassed 100 million views on YouTube and hit the milestone in approximately two days, three hours, and 45 minutes. Along with their brand new music video, the group also made a comeback with the release of their album “BE”.

We are betting that ARMY totally loves ‘Life Goes On’ because it’s the most personal track that the Kpop sensation, BTS has ever released. It’s like soothing our hearts and giving us solace while the world is trying its best to survive in these trying times.

You could see how the boys slowed down the tempo a bit as they offer a message of healing and sending us high hopes while we are in the midst of pandemic. We could say that they are absolutely serving the true meaning of music.

What’s More

Did you love it just like how we did? Well, here’s one thing that we also appreciate when it comes to their music video. Did you know that the sentimental and sweet music video of ‘Life Goes On’ was co-directed by their youngest member, Jungkook?

You’ve read it right! And this serves as his first music video credit as a director. Yay! What’s even more surprising, it’s not the first time that Jungkook has stepped behind the lens, he has also directed and edited plenty of clips from BTS’s Golden Closet Film (GCF)!

Looks like we’re going to wait for Jungkook’s directing skills! We can’t wait for more!

The eight-track album is the group’s fifth Korean-language album, and even though it has no guest artists, well it still features their recently released smash single “Dynamite.” Who didn’t dance along with that groovy track?

Overall, Jungkook, Jin, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, RM and V, absolutely nailed their comeback with its impressive colorful visuals and uplifting tracks. BTS truly continues to charm their way into our hearts with their own music.
