Last week Alexander 23 and Jeremy Zucker shared their infinitely dynamic collaboration with the world entitled, “Nothing’s the Same.”
The uber-talented solo artists teamed up to immortalize their emotions into this somber song about their current mindset in this time of crisis and travesty. Together, their piece has taken the shape of a hazy albeit very fitting “unofficial quarantine anthem” about their feelings of constant uncertainty and isolation in the age of Ms.Rona (a.k.a. the global Coronavirus).
Nothing’s the Same reigned supreme as one of UPROXX’s “Best Pop Songs of the Week” and garnered attention from Ones To Watch who, discussing the track’s lyrics, shares, “[they] flow out like stream-of-conscious poetry atop subtle ripples of beautifully understated production.”
Today, they reveal the empathetic video which helps paint the complete image of their feelings entwined in the song. A feeling we can all relate to – we watch time quickly pass by unwaveringly as they both continue to take part in their daily routines.
Seasoned music video director, Jason Lester (Madison Beer, Lauv, Julia Michaels), took the helm and set the Nothing’s the Same music video assail, out now!
This compelling collaboration comes at the heels of the Chicago-raised artist’s single success with Alexander 23’s hit song “IDK You Yet” has garnered over 13 Million streams, and later-on debuting on international airwaves via the Late Late Show this very year. The promising young hit-maker seems to only be going up from here.
