Despite the global pandemic, the 2021 GRAMMY Awards is set to honor this year’s biggest music artists.

Earlier today, the Recording Academy finally announced the full list of nominees for the 63rd GRAMMY Awards which will be broadcasted on January 31st. Leading the pack is Beyoncé with 9 categories, followed by Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, and Roddy Rich with 6 nominations each.

Beyonce’s nominations include Best Music Video for ‘Brown Skin Girl’, Best Music Film for ‘Black Is King’, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for ‘Savage’ with Megan Thee Stallion, Best R&B Song, Best R&B Performance and Song of the Year for ‘Black Parade’, and Record of the Year for both ‘Savage’ and ‘Black Parade’.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift, who just announced that she’s releasing ‘folklore: the long pond studio sessions’ on Disney+, received 6 nominations including Best Song Written for Visual Media for ‘Beautiful Ghosts’, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for ‘Exile’ with Bon Iver, Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year for ‘Cardigan’, and Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year for ‘folklore’.

Dua Lipa, on the other hand, is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for ‘Un Dia (One Day)’ with J Balvin, Bad Bunny and Tainy, Best Pop Solo Performance, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year for ‘Don’t Start Now’, and Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year for ‘Future Nostalgia’.

Another notable nominee this year is BTS, who became the first ever K-Pop act to receive a GRAMMY nomination. The 7-piece is up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their smash hit ‘Dynamite’. Here’s a video capturing their reaction for this milestone:
