Calling all U-Belt friends! We know you miss all the famous food spots you and your barkada go to in Espanya!

It’s 7 in the evening, your professor just dismissed the whole class. You, together with your friends, race your way to the gates of the University. After a long day of gruesome lectures and org work, it’s finally time to relax and grab some dinner. While walking along the busy streets of Espanya, with all the students crammed on the street of P Campa waiting for their ride home, you debate on where to eat, and your friends say “Kahit saan. Kayo bahala.”, because everyone says that. And you continue to walk and look for a place to eat.

But for now, this scenario remains just a good memory. We know you all are looking forward to walking along Espanya and debating where to eat, so here’s a list of some of our favorite food stops we all are missing!

Mang Tootz

Who doesn’t love BANANARHUMA? NO ONE.

Angkong

I know a lot of you can relate to the saying, “Ang estudyanteng gipit sa siomai rice kumakapit.” But kidding aside, Angkong’s dimsum is definitely the best there is in Espanya! With a variety of dimsum, from siomai, jap siomai, quail egg siomai, dumplings, and spareibs, they’re really one of our go-to’s.

Ichiro

Ichiro

One of the budget friendly Japanese restaurant around, Ichiro is considered to be Espanya’s Yabu. Oh, we dearly miss their cheese roll katsu because when Ichiro says cheese, it’s definitely filled with cheese!

Now, this barbecue house is one of the famous eating spots for students, especially during night time! We’re not joking when we say that there comes a point when it feels like you’re seeing a blockbuster movie because of the long line. Who misses saying, “Kuya, apat po kami. Pa reserve po ng lamesa.”?

Do you miss eating out in Espanya as much as we do?
