“Couples who play together stay together.” Here are some things ONLY gamer couples can relate to!

Let’s be real, gaming is no longer a one-man show. The stereotype of the “lonely geek gamer” is a thing of the past with more and more couples dive into gaming. Forget about romantic dinners, staying in and playing video games with your S.O. (special someone) is the new date night!

If you’re in a relationship with a fellow gamer, here are some things only YOU can relate to!

#1 Communication level: 100

From what we said, gaming is not a one-man show. And to successfully win a game,  COMMUNICATION is key. Any gamer couples out there prove to have a lot of that. We see them not necessarily talking through words, but somehow, they already know their partners and figured out how to deal with them in games. And it also comes in handy in real life!

#2 I support you, you carry me

Well, this is nothing new when couples play multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games. It doesn’t matter if you or your girlfriend is the carry or which roles you assume. It’s how you cooperate with your partner to win. And cooperating is a very hard thing to. You have to understand each other’s playstyle and complement one another. If your partner is the carry and needs a little bit of help, you already know what to do which is to gank duh!

#3 Online couples

Crazy as it seems, there are couples who meet through games. From playing many games together, some people develop feelings for one another and that’s okay. If you find yourself reading this article, you might have gone into a relationship with someone whom you met in online games. And this is definitely a thing only gamer couples can relate to!

#4 Fighting online

Who said gamer couples don’t argue about the smallest things? But rather than screaming at each other in person, gamer couples opt to continue their fight online. Try playing Rules of Survival and shoot your partner to your heart’s desire without compromising the game. Sometimes all you need is to blow off steam through games.

#5 The force is too strong

Just by spending time playing with each other, gamer couples’ bond becomes stronger. You don’t need to go out to have a quality time. If both of you are okay with it, you can just sit down place your hands on the keyboard and immerse yourself into the virtual world.

All in all, it doesn’t really matter whether you’re a gamer couple or not. The important thing to remember is to truly love each other. Any hobby like gaming that makes your bond unbreakable is something that makes it worth your while. True that!
