Even iPhone 11’s highly anticipated successor is not spared from the memes.

It sort of became a tradition that each time Apple unveils the next iPhone and its modified and additional features, the internet will find something to laugh about. The iPhone 11, released in 2019, had been subject to mockery for having three cameras; someone jokingly claimed it would boast a fidget spinner function, while another one compared it to the shocked face emoji.

Images that appear to be the leaked designs for Apple’s iPhone 12 have recently surfaced online. Similar to the fate of the predecessors, the purportedly latest models have sparked mockery and hilarious responses. While Apple has yet to make any official announcement, the general public is now having the time of their life poking fun at it.

Apparently, the allegedly leaked designs have added another lens in the camera region on the rear panel, making the back cameras a total of four. Yep, we never needed three, and now they’re giving us four! And the lenses are arranged in such a way they bear a striking resemblance to a stovetop.

While we aren’t totally sure about the function of the lenses, yet, the three are most probably copied from the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. The additional lens is said to be for the LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) scanner that Apple first implemented on the 2020 iPad Pro.

But regardless of what the quad-lens are intended to do, the way they look would understandably be a target for comedy. Here’s what the internet has to say about it.

While are others are targeting the design, some internet users have joined the trend to make jokes about the device’s affordability. According to rumors, the new iPhone will cost $1500, and a lot of us can even barely get past the iPhone 6.
