There’s no stopping TNC Predator’s reign of victory after bagging another championship title in the WESG SEA 2019! Read here to find out more!

It seems TNC Predator held its ground as our two-time World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) SEA winners by securing another championship title in this year’s tournament.

Just last year, they went home victorious against the all-Chinese group, Keen Gaming. And now, TNC Predator barely made it out alive in their tight battle with the Vietnamese Dota 2 team, 496! We know you’re all wondering what went down in WESG SEA 2019, so here’s everything you need to know about TNC’s triumph!

WESG 2019 Finals

In a best-of-3 series, both TNC and 496 were ready for an all-out match and indeed, it was! During the first game, TNC was complacent despite 496 banning their strongest heroes during the drafting stage. But boy, it was a big mistake for them as 496 took Game 1.

However, TNC immediately bounced back and re-grouped using Armel’s notorious Templar Assassin and the rest of the team using their best heroes. 496’s morale went from high to low in 23 minutes.

As expected, both teams picked their most comfortable heroes for the final game of this tournament. Similar to game one, both of them had heroes with a lot of AoE spells, which means that every single team fight could potentially swing in a different direction.

Although both teams showed great determination for claiming the WESG 2019 championship title, only can be deemed as the winner and that is TNC Predator. Game 3 was a rollercoaster ride with 496 having a huge advantage but with one mistake, everything fell apart for them.

TNC made their comeback with a determining clash in Roshan’s pit. Buybacks were made but alas, there was no stopping TNC from sealing the deal in this tournament.

All they do is win

Last month, TNC also was able to take home $125,000 after their win in the Electronic Sports League (ESL) One 2019 Dota 2 champions in Hamburg, Germany. They also took the title of being the first-ever Southeast Asian winners of the said tournament.

With this development, TNC will head on to the next challenge which is the MDL Chengdu Major, starting in a few weeks.
