No, not the band that popularized Super Inggo’s OST (though that would have been totally dope). We’re talking about the studio behind Batman Arkham.

Rocksteady Studios has confirmed via a Twitter announcement that a Suicide Squad game is in the works. With a teaser photo showing Superman with a mark on his head, the game developer of the Batman Arkham series revealed that more details about the game will be disclosed at DC FanDome on August 22.

The rumors are true!

For the last five years, the hype surrounding the next DC game from Rocksteady has been stirring up. Rumors and leaks have previously surfaced online, all pointing to an upcoming game based off of the notorious DC Comics supervillain team of the same name.

According to earlier rumor-based reports, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League was a probable final game title. The first official game teaser portraying the Man of Steel being marked on the head agrees to that; it even speaks volumes of what the gameplay would be. We might be off to play as villains going up against the usual heroes. We wouldn’t be surprised if the next teasers would be a series of posters showing other Justice League members being locked as targets.

Suicide Squad marks Rocksteady’s first game in five years. Also, this could be the studio’s first project for the next-gen consoles namely PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, so expectations are high.
