The Sims 4 premiered in 2014, and since then, it has enjoyed massive popularity among all age brackets. Electronic Arts, The Sim’s publisher, has decided to do something more with that, hence their collaboration with e-sports brand Eleague and Buzzfeed Multiplayer to create a four-episode competition reality television show called The Sims – Spark’d. This show, according to the creators, will redefine reality TV. Carrying some elements of e-sports, it’s a show in which twelve participants will compete in creating charactersworlds, and stories to win $100,000 prize.

All four episodes of The Sims Spark’d will be airing on the US channel TBS starting July 17. You can also catch up on the YouTube channel BuzzFeed Multiplayer after the TV broadcast. Hosting the show is former American Idol Finalist Rayvon Owern, and the jury will consist of YouTuber Kelsey Impicciche, singer Tayla Parx and Dave Miotke from The Sims-developer Maxis.
