#GamingNeverStops as the Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) goes digital this October.

One of the biggest in Southeast Asia, ESGS is an annual gaming convention that kickstarted in 2014. This year, despite the difficulties brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, the highly anticipated event is pushing through.

Organized by Gariath Concepts, one of the most prominent esports events organizers in the Philippines, ESGS 2020 will be held online. The official announcement was made via the official Facebook page of ESGS.

As revealed in the announcement, participants can expect to see a series of esports tournaments, new game and tech reveals, and meet and greets with some of the biggest gaming and esports personalities. The 3-day online show will happen from October 23 to 25, 2020.

The convention will be hosting championship tourneys for Call of Duty: Mobile, DOTA 2, Mobile Legends Bang Bang, and Rainbox Six Siege with a whopping a PHP80,000 (US$1,650) prize pool for each segment.

The grand final for the DOTA 2 event is scheduled to take place on October 23, while the MLBB tournament concludes on October 24. The Rainbow Six Siege grand final is also slated to happen on October 23, followed by MLBB on October 24.

There will also be open tournaments for PUBG, Valorant, and a cosplay competition with a PHP50,000 (US$1,000) prize pool awaiting the participants in each event. With the online qualifiers held last October 17-18, the grand finals for both events take place on October 25.
