Well, Sony Interactive Entertainment did not disappoint.
After a delay that has taken place to show solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, Sony has finally revealed the look of PlayStation 5, which is set to come out this Holiday. And yep– fans were pleased with what they witnessed.
While the console’s price and the exact date when it’s coming out are yet to be announced, the mere look of this little white machine is enough to leave gamers ecstatic. Sony also promised that they would be offering fans two options at launch: a PlayStation®5 console with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive and a PlayStation®5 Digital Edition without a disc drive. There won’t be any differences in the gameplay experience, though.
The future of gaming
Futuristic is the perfect adjective to describe the new PlayStation. From its sleek design to the gaming experience it promises to the crowd as shown by the footages of their upcoming games, Sony is definitely outdoing themselves this time.
Upcoming games revealed
More than providing fans the first look at PlayStation5, the event also featured games set to arrive after the PS5 launch. While there’s a lot of brand-new titles that look very promising with their breathtaking gameplay and incredible visuals (Pragmata, Little Devil Inside) fans mostly marveled at the announcement of big games like Spiderman: Miles Morales and Resident Evil: Village.
Rockstar’s Grand Thief Auto V will also be coming to the PS5 as an expanded new version. Gran Turismo 7 is also in the works, which looks incredibly realistic– both in vehicles and the environment. A cinematic trailer of Hitman 3 was also shown.
