The pandemic may have put MCU on hold, but not the games.

Black Marvel was supposed to come out in theaters on May 1, 2020. It would have been the latest story we’d get fresh from the MCU; unfortunately, with the coronavirus still lurking around, the release date was pushed back until November 6. But that’s not to say that everything else has been delayed or canceled: Marvel Games will persevere.

On Sept. 4, the highly anticipated Marvel’s Avengers will drop for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, and Microsoft Windows systems. This Square Enix game will see the Earth’s mightiest heroes battling it all out against an equally mighty villain called MODOK. Also, this year, the world will finally get their hands on Miles Morales.

On the upcoming PS5 title

One of the highlights during the June 11 PlayStation 5 reveal event was the unveiling of the upcoming launches on the next-gen console. One of the games that got hyped the most was Spiderman: Miles Morales, a standalone marvel game developed by Insomniac Games.

While not too many details have been revealed since the announcement trailer, fans were pleased today when Insomniac Games shared a new screenshot showing Spiderman ready to plunge into the beating heart of the action on the wet, wintery streets of New York. The screenshot is also a show-off of the stunning next-gen console visuals.
