New rumors circulating online claim that Game Freak is developing a Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remake for the Nintendo Switch.

It’s actually not that hard to believe in these tittle-tattles, because Game Freak has made a quite predictable pattern in terms of launching remakes of their Pokemon games.

Back in 2004, they released Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen for the Game Boy Advance as remakes of the original games. Five years later, Gold & Silver were released as HeartGold and SoulSilver on DS. Then after another five years, in 2014, Omega Ruby & Alhpa Sapphire were launched on 3DS as the new Ruby & Sapphire.

It’s been six years now since the world saw a last remake from the company, so we are in a good position to expect that they’re working on something new.

However, while it’s not a question of whether or not Pokemon Diamon and Pearl will be reborn, fans are wondering when the game will be launched. Well, there’s good news!

According to an unverified information leak, an alleged coder at Game Freak discloses that the company is working on a game titled Max Diamond and Max Pearl, scheduled to release in November 2021. While we should all take this with a grain of salt, the rumored release date makes sense if you’d consider the Pokemon franchise’s release history.
