If you’re quite an avid PS gamer, you know that the PlayStation forum available on its official website has always been a help. For the longest time, fellow fans and PlayStation community managers have been helping out each other to resolve queries. But it looks we’ll be seeing the end of it after Sony announced today that it will be shutting the PlayStation forum.

According to PlayStation: “Beginning 27th February, the PlayStation.com forums will no longer be available.”

With no more reason explaining why, it was a surprise to many because the forum has already cemented a place in people’s hearts and it was announced so bluntly. Of course, it’s heartbreaking in some ways but we are curious of what PlayStation has in store for its future discussion hub on its official blog.

And we aren’t the only ones who feel this way.

For the mean time, you don’t have to worry thinking you won’t find another online forum to engage in conversations with like-minded individuals. In case you didn’t know, Reddit is just basically a forums website that is still popular among many and surely, we won’t be seeing it go anywhere.
