In case you missed the Call of Duty Mobile Clan Invasion event, here’s a little recap for you to relive the epic moments that went down!

Only a few months after Call of Duty Mobile was introduced by Garena in the Philippines, it has already made a large fanbase. And of course, to make things official and somehow give back to its supporters, the first CODM event was held called “Clan Invasion”.

Fire Team claims Clan Invasion Grand Finals

On December 28, the first official Call of Duty Mobile event in the Philippines, Clan Invasion Grand Finals, was held at High Grounds Cafe in Quezon City. Among the 16 groups that competed in the Regional Qualifiers in hopes of bagging 150,000 pesos, only 4 remained which were NRX316, Fire Team, Salty Salad, and XDGaming! But as the tournament went on, only one team had the right for the gold medal and it was none other than Fire Team.

During the first round of games, Fire Team was sent weeping in the Lower Bracket after NRX316 took two sets in their BO3. In the Lower Bracket, Fire Team faced XDGaming in a do-or-die match and emerged victoriously. From here on, they sought out win after win until reaching the Grand Finals against Salty Salad and finally claiming the championship title after a BO5 round.

The main event ended with XDGaming going for the 4th place (30,000 pesos), NRX316 as 2nd runner (45,000 pesos), and Salty Salad as 1st runner up (80,000 pesos).

Influencers Showdown

Garena Influencers Showdown

Another segment of the event is the Influencers Showdown wherein we had the chance to see our favorite personalities go in a very intense match against each other. There were clutch shots made, trashtalks exchanges, and a lot of modes played.

Slated up for Team A or Team Game of Throws will be team captain, Roadfill of the Moymoy Palaboy musical duo, alongside Ashley Gosiengfiao, Frhea Jaimil, JustinWeaver, and Kazuhiro “Senpai Kazu” Parungao.

While Team B or Team Better Run consists of team captain, battle rap MC, Sinio, with Ella Cruz, Izzy Canillo, Julius “Banoobs” Mariano, and Yves “Chambalero” Morales.

Among the influencers, Ella Cruz and Izzy Canillo stood out as the battle’s MVPs helping their team to victory. But of course, a win wouldn’t be possible without the help of their other members such as Banoobs’ pro sniper skills, Sinio’s three-finger playstyle, and Chambalero’s luck!

And here’s a video if you don’t believe us:

We’ll leave the rest up to your imagination but one thing’s for sure–the crowd went wild and we had heaps of fun!

What do you think of Clan Invasion being the first official Call of Duty Mobile PH event by Garena in the Philippines? And would you like to see more events like this in the future? And how did you feel seeing your favorite celebrities go in an all out match?
