New year, new month, new games waiting to be released. For PlayStation users, there’s a bunch of video games this January 2021 waiting for you to claim for free!

Sony revealed at the end of December the latest lineup of video games now available for PlayStation Plus subscribers for free. And guess what, this batch of titles consists of two games for the PlayStation 4, and one for the PlayStation 5.

As you could see above, the PS5 version of the open world action RPG ‘Maneater’ has made it to the list of January’s free PS Plus titles. Also included are Square Enix’s ‘Shadow of the Tomb Raider’ and the novel RPG ‘Greedfall.’ Below is each of the game’s official pitch, as posted on PlayStation’s official website.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Experience Lara Croft’s defining moment as she becomes the Tomb Raider in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs and persevere through Lara’s darkest hour as she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse.

Dive into this core roleplaying experience that finds you exploring uncharted new lands seeping with magic and filled with riches, lost secrets and fantastic creatures. Forge this new world’s destiny with diplomacy, deception and force and become part of a living, evolving world.

Experience the ultimate power fantasy as the apex predator of the seas – a terrifying shark! Maneater is a single player, open world action RPG (ShaRkPG) where YOU are the shark. Starting as a small shark pup you are tasked with surviving the harsh world while eating your way up the ecosystem.

This is definitely good news to all gamers, who want to start this year with some thrill and action. However, as usual, this batch of titles can only be claimed for free if you are a PS Plus Subscriber. These games are available until February 1.
