Aside from the digital mouthwatering food we get to see in cooking games, it’s the thrill of being able to make your own dishes at the ease your fingertips that makes them so addicting. And we’re excited to say that someone is brewing up his own Filipino cooking game titled, ‘Taste of Home’.

Ichicko, a 22-year-old game artist, took it to Twitter to share his team’s thesis project called, ‘Taste of Home’. It’s basically a cooking game that will be very close to the hearts of Filipinos since the dishes in the game is catered locally. Do we smell lumpiang shanghai?! Yes, please!

The people behind ‘Taste of Home’ is Team MEOWFIA, a group of college students from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.

Although there’s still no official menu, we’re crossing our fingers to see some household Filipino dishes such as sinigang, sinangag, kare-kare, and more!

If you can’t wait to try out this new game, you experience it at the DLSU-CDB’s Incendium exhibit this November 27-28. But if you can’t, you’ll just have to wait for further announcements when it’ll be available for the public.

As of now, the game is slated for release next year for Android and will be published by Senshi.Labs.
