Based on the Ragnarok IP, Gravity comes out with a new strategy RPG called ‘Ragnarok Tactics’

And it’s now available in Southeast Asia!

Gravity Game Tech brings us a new spin-off of the widely popular Ragnarok Online And as from what we’ve seen, it’s not your usual strategy RPG. If you want to find out more about this new game, then check out our first thoughts here:

Ragnarok Tactics is described as an “idle + strategy RPG” set in the world of Midgard, yeah, it’s the same one in RO. Players are tasked to lead a pack of fearsome monsters from the 60 ones available, which you can also boost their skills and strength from the in-game Essence System.

Another thing we liked about it has the “idle” function wherein you can just leave it on the background and the game would still continue. Busy bees, you’re welcome!

But if challenges are up your alley and you want to exert some brain juice, you can also play manually and choose different strategies depending on the enemies in front of you. Mind you, it is not always wise to blindly charge forward, even if you have the strongest of monsters. So it’s better to plan things out before making a move or else you’ll find yourself facing the same foes over and over again.

And if you’re getting too lonely, you can invite your friends to play Ragnarok Tactics to hunt monsters together. Or you can event challenge them into a real-time duel in-game and figure out once and for all who is the stronger monster commander.

Lastly, you can also form and join a Guild to go to raids together and earn various rewards from the Guild Treasure Chest.

Southeast Asia fans get ready

The game was first launched on  November 8, 2019 and became an instant hit being the highest-ranked game in the App Store and  the No. 1 most ‘Trending’ game on Google Play Store. And now, Gravity is hoping for a wider reach with its Southeast Asian launch!

So here’s for every Ragnarok fans in Southeast Asia, we’re calling you to try out Ragnarok Tactics and in case you missed it, it’s already available since December last year.
