With Ninjas in Pyjamas completing participating teams, MDL Disneyland Paris Major announces more details about the event.

Just recently, Ninjas in Pyjamas, led by Peter Pandam took home the championship from the OGA Dota PIT Minor. And with their win, they head on straight to the MDL Disneyland Paris Major. And after the confirmation of the participating teams, organizers revealed the schedules and group pairing for the 16 teams.

The event will run from May 4 to May 12. Group Stage will be from May 4 to May 5. While the Playoffs will be from May 6 to May 12. The teams will play in a double-elimination format. And on the final four days of the tournament, the teams will play in front of a live crowd.

So far, they’ve distributed the 16 teams into 4 groups. Group A will have powerhouse Virtus.pro and TI7 champ Team Liquid. Joining them are the rising CN team, Keen Gaming and EternaLEnVy’s new stack, beastcoast. On the other hand, Group B sets stage for Team Secret who have played dominantly in most of the tournaments this season. Same goes with Ninjas in Pyjamas who just won the OGA Dota PIT Minor. Team Empire and Chaos Esports Club will be in Group B too.

For Group C, the toughest CN teams, Vici Gaming, and PSG.LGD will be there. While Vici Gaming has already locked in for TI9, this will be the chance for PSG.LGD to rack up some points to secure their TI9 ticket. Pain Gaming and SEA powerhouse Mineski will be in their group too. And last but totally not least, Group D. Group D shows a potential intense action as rivals Evil Geniuses and TI8 champs OG face once again. Fnatic, another SEA powerhouse will be there too, along with complexity. This only makes their group a deadly one, with all the tension and prowess the teams possess.

Anyway, MDL Disneyland Paris Major will be the second to the last Major before the DPC season ends. Surprisingly, only four teams have secured their spot for The International 2019 at Shanghai. Namely, Virtus.pro, Team Secret, Vici Gaming and Evil Genuises. The rest of the teams part of the Top 12 in DPC rankings still have their chances to rack up some points for TI9.
