Adding a new trophy to their collection, Indonesia’s ONIC Esports comes out victorious as the MSC 2019 champions!

After enduring a series of tough matches, the Indonesian representative ONIC Esports’ hard work paid off. They demonstrated a near-perfect streak at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup. And in a clean sweep of 3-0, they dominated their fellow Indonesian team, Louvre Esports. ONIC Esports made sure to give everyone a good time at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last June 20, 2019.

ONIC Esports aims to be the best esports organization to represent Southeast Asia. Founded in 2018, they’ve been on the run, managing sports talents thrivingly, even for a new organization. And so far, their MLBB team has been the rise ever since. As a matter of fact, ONIC Esports had been bagging championship titles after championship titles around SEA region.

And MSC 2019 is just another conquest in their successful esports journey. Despite having crowd favorites, Bren Esports and ArkAngel playing at home court, Filipinos have shown support to ONIC Esports.

True enough, only gaining one loss at the entire tournament, they’ve been unstoppable since day 1. And as they faced, Louvre Esports, it was nothing but a waiting game to see how they will earn they way to victory.

Much to everyone’s surprise, Louvre Esports didn’t manage to get even a single win against ONIC Esports. Every single time a team fight commences, ONIC manages to turn the tables to their advantage. Once ONIC secured Game 1 and Game 2, Louvre seemed to have lost all hope as they began to make misplays at crucial team fights.

However, they tried to crawl their way back at Game 3. Even with their backs pushed against the wall and their Nexus at stake, they tried to make a comeback. But despite their fight, they fall down to ONIC Esports who shows their strength and wit in outplaying them.

ONIC Esports took home $68,102 USD, the lion’s share of the prize pool. At the same time, their member Sasa claimed $1,000 USD as he was awarded the MVP title.
