WARNING: Spoiler alert! If you want to find out what happened during my first time trying Electronic Arts’, ‘Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’ then read more right here: This is not a PROFESSIONAL Review, but a casual enthusiast’s game review!

Before I give my thoughts, let’s lay down the facts about ‘Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’ first. The game was released last November 15, 2019, for Xbox, Windows, and PlayStation 4. The story plot itself is set shortly after the film ‘Episode III – Revenge of the Sith’. The game follows the story of a young Jedi or padawan, Cal Kestis, as he sets on a journey to complete his training and to restore the Jedi order. All the while, being chased by the Second Sister from the Galactic Empire.

First Look

My first go at the ‘Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’ was a relatively new experience for me. It was my first time playing a Star Wars game, and so far I’m impressed, I feel like I’ve missed a lot, but hey at least I got to experience this new game first hand. I mean, I’ve been hearing from a lot from Star Wars fans that some of the titles from the franchise didn’t live up to their expectations. However, with this new release, many are saying actually singing another tune. Most have actually said that ‘Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’ was better than what they’d thought it would be.

And well, to be honest — in fact, for me,  it did not disappoint. The graphics were amazingly realistic and the storyline kept you hooked and there wasn’t any point in the game where I felt bored. I for one am extremely satisfied with the Fallen Order, even after taking into considering that most if not all action-adventure games tend to require long hours to play than other games.

My Rating

Being a game enthusiast and a casual gamer, I would rate it’s a 9 out of 10 for a newbie like me! Why? well, simply because of the gameplay, the storyline is awesome along with the simple fact that it’s so easy to navigate in and explore.

At the same time, it gives you that thrill where you actually need to exert effort during combat as you attempt to finish the quest at hand. But hey, I am pretty sure that all those Star Wars fans out there would be totally into this game, I mean I myself have been drawn from my very first look at how surreal the story unfolded right before my eyes.
