As soon as The International 2019 came to an end, almost all teams enter the post TI9 roster shuffle in preparation for the next DPC season!
Change is indeed inevitable, especially in the Dota 2 scene. And with The International 2019 coming to an end, the competitive scene will be a breath of fresh air. Some might have fruitful experiences, some had to reflect and succumb to change in order to move forward in their career.
So it’s no surprise to see teams undergoing their roster shuffle now that the biggest tournament everyone practiced for is officially done. So we’ve compiled every region’s team changes, from transfers and switches, both rumors and confirmed updates. Especially for the teams that participated at The International 2019.
Europe

There are rumors that Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng and Ludwig “zai” Wåhlberg might be leaving Team Secret. And that there’s a possibility that Team Secret will acquire Lasse “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen.
While Alliance will still be keeping their roster, despite the misclick mishap they suffered in The International 2019 against Royal Never Give Up. The CEO of Alliance Jonathan “Loda” Berg confirmed it in his tweet. But Maurice ‘KheZu‘ Gutmann will be leaving Chaos Esports Club after tweeting about looking for a new team.
North America & South America

Gustav “s4” Magnusson and Tal “Fly” Aizik might be departing from Evil Geniuses. In turn, EG might be picking up a CIS player to replace them.
While compLexity Gaming confirmed to release their Dota 2 team from their organization.
CIS

According to Russian shoutcaster Vitalii Nikolaevich “v1lat” Volochai, Virtus.pro will be making drastic changes in their roster. Among the rumored changes are Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev and Pavel “9pasha” Khvastunov’s departure from the team.
While Gambit Esports will have Danil “gpk” Skutin added to their roster as a replacement to Andrey “Afoninje” Afonin.
China
Fade’s post translates:
“I will retire and hope that marks that end of the drama. I’m tired of being at the center of the storm. Playing competitively for all these years, I’ve made many mistakes but also had many happy memories. I think I’ve disappointed you guys too many times. Let’s end it right here, I will go back to being a normal guy who can enjoy Dota in a simpler way.”
With the pressure and intense from the Chinese Dota community, Pan “Fade” Yi confirms his departure from Vici Gaming. Not only that, but he also mentioned that he will be retiring from the competitive scene.

As for SEA teams, TNC.Predator will likely be keeping their roster intact. However, there are rumors that Coach Heen might be leaving the team for unknown personal reasons.
On the other hand, Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov left Mineski. Same goes with Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross Jr. Both players are already looking for a new team.
Kim “DuBu” Doo-young confirmed his departure from Fnatic. There are a few rumors that Fnatic will be revamping the whole team. And Abed Azel “Abed” Yusop might be leaving for an NA team.

While South Korean organization T1, announced that they will be expanding their horizons to Dota 2. They have recently acquired Lee “Forev” Sang-don as part of the new team.
So far, those are the updates from most teams. But there is a huge possibility that there will be more changes to come in their rosters. Especially with the 2019-2020 DPC season to commence later this year.
