Electronic Arts announced they will be bringing back their games on Steam. Will we be seeing Apex Legends on Steam soon?
Valve, developer of Steam, announced their partnership with Electronic Arts yesterday. And if you don’t have a clue on what will happen, basically our favorite EA games like Apex Legends can now be accessible through Steam!
For quite a time, EA has stopped releasing its games on Steam and stayed true to its own launching platform, Origin. But it all changed yesterday when EA took it to Twitter to tease us with this exciting announcement!
This doesn’t mean, however, that EA games will no longer be available on Origin, instead, users can opt to play on either launcher. EA aims their return to Steam as an avenue to reach a wider player-base.

We know you’re excited as much as we are, so we’ll skip right to the game titles that will be available! The first game to kick off this new partnership is the highly anticipated, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which is set to launch on November 15. But if you can’t wait, you can already pre-order it through Steam.
Fallen Order, The Sims 4, and Unravel Two are also set to be released in the coming months.
Apex Legends on Steam
And last not but not least, Mike Blank, EA’s Senior VP of Player Networks has confirmed they will be bringing Apex Legends along with EA’s core multiplayer titles like FIFA and Battlefield V on Steam in 2020!
Talk about celebrating the holiday season!
Alongside these, EA’s subscription service, EA Access, will also be dropping on Steam around spring next year! So for those who are already registered to EA Access, you don’t have to worry about making that leap to Steam!
