Alienware is coming out with a new Switch-like gaming gear that runs on Windows! Without further ado, here’s Concept UFO!

It’s like a Nintendo Switch, but on steroids…

2020 is just starting but it looks like we just heard the biggest gaming announcement yet! During CES 2020 last Tuesday, Alienware unveiled Concept UFO which is a portable gaming device that reportedly runs on Windows and lets you play Steam games like Mortal Kombat 11 and World War Z. Can you believe it?! Uh-huh, that’s also pretty much our reactions.

Alienware, however, explained that the device is only at the early development but they made sure to give us something along the way. Upon taking a look at it, you can’t deny that it appears like a deluxe version of the Switch but better!

Shut up and take my money

Concept UFO boasts an 8-inch display and Lunar Light-painted aluminum body. Not only that, but it also has a 10th Gen Intel Core. processor, so yeah, basically it’s a PC shrunk down to a convenient handheld device.

Just like Nintendo Switch, it has detachable controllers. But the sticks are bedazzled with an LED light that has a purpose! It lets you know if your controllers are properly connected to the bridge or the display panel. Also, when you plug the UFO into its dock, you can use it as a full-blown PC! What’s not to love? And although it’s just a concept, we can’t help but be on board the hype train.

With that being said, we’re pretty sure you are too. While we don’t have a clue as to how much it’ll cost, it’s safe to say it would be like the Nintendo Switch’s price at $299 or more. Better start saving now, eh?

What do you think of Alienware’s Concept UFO? Do you agree that’s better than the Nintendo Switch? And will you be copping it when it’s released?
