If you like anything and everything strawberry, then we’ve got a yummy piece of news for you!
Thanks to the wild, transatlantic expeditions of Christopher Columbus, the sweet, juicy, heart-shaped fruits we now call “strawberries” have been explored. Aside from being aesthetically pleasing– which caused it to become a symbol for love– the addictively fantastic taste rooted in the perfect balance between its sweetness and acidity made it a perfect companion for many beautiful things like pastry, candies, and ice cream.
What if we told you that your favorite berry is about to become the star of Starbucks’ newest offering? You heard it right!
Starbucks PH will transport you to Japan’s Cherry Blossom season as the coffeehouse behemoth rolls out new strawberry-flavored drinks starting March 23. Two new goodies will be added to the menu; first, the Sakura Blossom Strawberry Frappuccino, and then the Iced Sakura Blossom Strawberry Tea. Too fancy for names, aren’t they? Wait ’til you find out what they’re made of.
