What You Need To Know About Elements Music Camp

You’ve probably heard about Elements Music Camp with their reunion concert that happened just recently—even wondered where these artists actually came from, and what exactly is Elements Music Camp.

Young artists who were exposed early in the music industry know about the said camp—you could say that it’s one of “the dreams“, because a lot of popular artists now were able to get in. Plus, OPM legends, like Ryan Cayabyab, Joey Ayala, Noel Cabangon, Gary Granada, Ebe Dancel, Gary Valenciano, Raimund Marasigan, Chito Miranda, and Rey Valera, to name a few, mentor these campers especially in terms of singing and songwriting.

Elements Music Camp is well-known for its power to produce OPM talents that are worth listening to. They train these artists to reach their full music potential, and hopefully follow their steps in building the OPM scene. It’s a 5-day music class intended to gather all aspiring and professional singer-songwriters in the country to learn and produce music together.

So for all the Filipino artists out there aged 21 to 35, you can still apply until August 3. They recently moved the deadline from July 31 to August 3.

If you are an active performer in the Live scene with unreleased, original songs, this is your chance, as long as you also have basic experience or exposure to arranging, recording, and producing your own music. Also note that you must not have signed to any record label before.

What to submit:

  • One (1) to Two (2) Live video of the submitted song/s.
  • Applicant can send One (1) to Two (2) songs in English.
  • A Live performance video for each submitted song, the video must include a brief introduction and explanation of the song and its creation and production process.
  • The song submitted must already be basically arranged.
    • MP3 file per submitted song.
    • Lyrics per submitted song.
    • All file submissions should total to only 1GB.

Tao Corp.’s president, Julio D. Sy Jr., and music industry veterans Ryan Cayabyab and Twinky Lagdameo formed Elements Music Camp eight years ago, and so far it’s been very successful in turning talented artists into the next big thing.

Details and application form can be viewed here. There’s no harm in trying, so, don’t miss this chance! 🙂
