Artists giving back at the Pahiraya Benefit Gig truly touched our hearts! And here’s what you need to know about what went down at Mow’s Bar last Wednesday.

As some of you may already know, artists giving back at the Pahiraya Benefit Gig happened November 11 at the Mow’s Bar. The benefit gig is for the students of Navotas Central Elementary School. They are invited as the Kaya Ko! Philippine Youth Ambassadors and they will be participating in the Be The Change Conference in Taiwan.

The kids will be presenting their Disaster Preparedness Project, and to support them, Infinite Playlist Productions and Fosterr Productions helped them raise funds. The gig for a good cause was to able to collect budget that will cover their expenses, airfare, and conference fee.

FourPlay MNL at the Pahiraya Benefit Gig

We were able to pay a visit to the Pahiraya Benefit Gig on Wednesday night and the event surely touched our hearts. Amongst the performers of the gig was the hot rising OPM band, FourPlay MNL. We had a little chat with them about what the night was all about, and you should definitely watch this one!

FourPlay MNL captured us as they share their sentiments toward the gig for a good cause before they performed for the night. They told us that this benefit gig is different from their usual performances. Because this time, they are the ones helping out instead of the other way around. Thank you, FourPlay MNL!

The Pahiraya Benefit Gig

The benefit gig also featured a lot of talented teachers from the Navotas Central Elementary School as well. Even the students were present for the night and gave their thanks to everyone who attended and supported them.

The night was truly jam-packed ranging from parents, teachers, and young adults. The Pahiraya Benefit Gig was certainly a success. And to say that we are happy for the students and the organizers would be an understatement!

From the talented teachers serenading the event, Shirebound and Busking, The Ridleys, and Josh Villena of Autotelic completed the night as well. We also got the chance to talk with Jeanny Burce, one of the teachers and organizers for the Pahiraya Benefit Gig.

Watch our interview with her and know all about this gig for a good cause!

True enough, music has a way of touching the hearts of the people. No wonder they chose a gig to fund for the kids’ needs for their Be The Change Conference in Taiwan.

Attending bar gigs and listening to good songs for the night is amazing. But it’s even more special knowing that you’re able to help others, right? The Pahiraya Benefit Gig was surely a success and we can’t wait to witness more events such as this.
