The Opening of Christmas Lights
Ahhh! It’s that time of the year when holiday lights are twinkling everywhere and amazing music is blasting out here and there. Especially in the University of Santo Tomas where UST Paskuhan Light from Light, Prince of Peace’s commencement ceremony just happened!
Last night was all about holiday cheer and Thomasian pride! It’s amazing to witness how the entire campus come together to commemorate the start of the most wonderful time of the year.
Of course, the event started with a Eucharistic celebration which was presided by Rev. Fr. Richard G. Ang, O.P., Ph.D. Then followed by the lighting of the Christmas decorations. UST promised a same-day edit of the lighting and they did not disappoint. Check out the video below!
Wow! Wasn’t that spectacular? But that was just the start! “What?”, we know. After the beautiful lighting of the decors was the Agape.

Agape is a tradition exclusive for the Thomasians where they get to munch on good food in their respective areas together with their schoolmates.
Later this month are many more events lined up for Thomasians to attend, and oh, it’s open for outsiders too! Tomorrow, the UST Chorus of Arts and Letters will belt out their vocal prowess for the entire campus to enjoy!
