Rock ‘n’ Roll and bang your heads ’cause heavy metal band Slipknot is going to have a concert in the Philippines in 2020!

You may not be aware, but a lot of Filipinos really enjoy listening to rock music and even heavy metal. After all, Filipinos are a music-loving bunch. We could sing ballad songs with high notes during karaoke sessions, what more if hardcore punk or heavy metal music? So to all you heavy metal enthusiasts out there, save up your money ’cause Slipknot, the American heavy metal band, is FINALLY coming to the Philippines for a concert next year!

It has been over 15 years when Slipknot’s supposed-to-be concert in Manila was cancelled. So the upcoming concert that will happen on March 29, 2020 is surely amazing news for their Filipino fans.

Check the photo below for the announcement from PULP Live World, the event’s promoter.

We can already hear the Filipino Maggots (the name with which Slipknot addresses their fans) screaming!

Recognized as the band performing with creepy AF masks, Slipknot’s most well-known songs are ‘Psychosocial’ and ‘Before I Forget‘. As a matter of fact, the latter won the Best Metal Performance award at the Grammy Awards in 2006.

Such a freakin’ awesome song right? As people who love rock music but seldom listen to heavy metal, we were literally feeling eargasm while listening to it! Moreover, we just can’t help but headbang along to it.

Their upcoming concert in Manila will take place in Amoranto Stadium, Quezon City on March 29 next year as a part of the Southeast Asia leg of their ‘We Are Not Your Kind’ World Tour. ‘We Are Not Your Kind’ is their latest album, released last August.
