The Chainsmokers has confirmed that they will be coming back to the Philippines! There are no details yet but some fans, as per usual, are already planning to sell their kidneys for tickets.

They subtly confirmed their comeback by answering a question from Twitter user Louel Jomarie (@triddlejoe) who asked if The Chainsmokers will be coming back to the Philippines. Many fans have been surprised with the answer and took it as a confirmation for a new concert from the EDM artists.

The Chainsmokers is one of the most well-known pop EDM artists by Filipinos presumably because of their famous hits such as “Closer,” “Roses” and the recent “Something Just Like This.” The duo has already staged a concert in the Philippines back in 2016 at the Mall of Asia Arena and in 2014 at Resorts World Manila.

Selling Kidneys for The Chainsmokers Concert

Even if there are still no official details revealed yet, fans are already panicking. Some are jokingly complaining that 2017 already has many high-profile artist concerts such as Ed Sheeran and the recent Coldplay in Manila. Sheeran has already confirmed that he will be back to play in the Philippines before the end of the year.

And, recently, the #PurposeTourManila have been trending over at Twitter! Read all about it here.

But wait, did The Chainsmokers say exactly when they will be back? No, they did not. There is a possibility that they will be indeed coming back but not this year.

As of this writing, there is no listing for any concert from The Chainsmokers even in their official website. Fear not, they may announce it in the following months considering that the first half of 2017 is not over yet.

There are some who do not appreciate The Chainsmokers as much as the others though:

The Chainsmokers might be playing songs in their new album “Memories…Do Not Open” such as “Paris” and “Young.” Of course, they would most likely play “Roses” as well.
