#DisneyAdaptPercyJackson is the #1 trending topic on Twitter, and here’s why!

Our favorite half-blood campers may be coming to Disney+ soon! Because #DisneyAdaptPercyJackson is trending on Twitter, and it’s more than just empty clamor from the fans! So here’s hoping we can finally forget the travesty of the movie adaptations!

So in case you don’t know the enthralling tale of Percy Jackson, it is a book series about the adventures of the sons and daughters of the Greek Gods and Goddesses. And focuses on one in particular named Percy Jackson, the son of Poseidon. You can learn more about the books right here.

So are you still not convinced that this really may be happening? Well, the call for it exploded so much that even the author of the book series, Rick Riordan, posted a “fingers crossed” photo on Instagram:

So, nothing is set in stone just yet. But if it helps, the source of this information hasn’t been wrong about other upcoming movies and series. So according to the source, if the TV series adaptation with Disney+ were to push through, we’d see some big changes from the movies!

For one, there will be age-appropriate casting and we’ll finally get to see them grow up through the show. Much like the Stranger Things cast. And that we may be getting multiple seasons! Because, and this is all speculation, it may be Disney+’s answer to rival Amazon’s Lord Of The Rings and Netflix’s Chronicles of Narnia.

People are actually pledging their allegiance to Disney+ for this to happen!

The viral hashtag has so much support that people are actually pledging their allegiance to Disney+, just to turn this into TV series reality. And if getting the number one spot on the international Twitter trends isn’t enough, we don’t know what will! So check out some of the viral tweets we caught with the hashtag #DisneyAdaptPercyJackson:
