Let’s face it: a lot of K-pop groups have been dominating audiences even from other countries outside South Korea.

Call it world domination if you like but hey, their music is frickin’ great!

BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE – these are just some of the groups that you could say are reaching audiences on international levels. In fact, a lot of other idols are even rising to worldwide acknowledgment because nowadays, a lot of people are more open to listening to K-pop. It is a genre that – in our opinion – will continue to prosper in the decades to come.

Now, we must say that one of the groups that we also stan is Red Velvet, a girl group under SM Entertainment. They are somehow underrated but so far, we think that’s about to change. Because earlier today, they went trending as people discovered that their single titled “Zimzalabim” was included in “Trolls World Tour”, the sequel to the animated film “Trolls”.

If you haven’t heard of their bewitching single yet though, check it by simply playing the YouTube video below.

Admittedly at first listen, we didn’t like “Zimzalabim” at all. However, it just grows on you most especially when you can just see how talented the girls are. Damn you Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri!

Red Velvet World Domination

In the trailer for “Trolls World Tour“, there appears to be some kind of a 5-member K-pop gang of trolls. Somehow they kind of represent Red Velvet as a whole, which was most obvious when they started to perform the chorus of “Zimzalabim”.

Watch the short clip for “Trolls 2” as included in the tweet below.

Of course, fans were thrilled upon seeing this. After all, Red Velvet will be introduced to more people! As a result, the phrase “RED VELVET WORLD DOMINATION” trended earlier today with lots of ReVeluvs (the name of the group’s fandom) not letting the chance pass to share their thoughts and support for Red Velvet.
