If you’ve been missing the music of Linkin Park, then say no more! Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda is off to Manila this September 2019!

Ready to conquer Asia, Mike Shinoda brings his “Post Traumatic Tour” to Manila this coming September 2019. According to Warner Music Philippines, the Linkin Park rhythm guitarist and singer-songwriter will be playing at the New Frontier Theater, Quezon City on September 6.

With Linkin Park on hiatus after the death of Chester Bennington, Mike Shinoda focused on his solo music career. Last 2018, he released his solo debut album called Post Traumatic. A continuation from his Post Traumatic EP, the album consists of 3 songs about grief. According to Shinoda himself,  he dedicates it to Link Park’s late vocalist and his long-time friend, Chester Bennington. He produced the album with the help of other fellow musicians, particularly his Linkin Park bandmates.

The album encapsulates his feelings of grief, lamenting over the loss of a beloved. Though it introduces the emotional toll loss can give, it has it’s own positive charm as well. Post Traumatic, as a whole, instills the idea of hope and that things will eventually get better. In a likely manner, Shinoda brought forth a series of raw and flawed emotions through the songs. But all of them resonates to everyone who can relate to it.

Aside from Manila, Mike Shinoda will also be visiting Taipei and Jakarta, respectively. Tickets for his Post Traumatic Tour in Manila will go on sale on June 29. This will be his third visit in the country after Linkin Park’s first concert in 2004 and their one-night concert way back in 2013.
