Only a few weeks left till the dreaded Game of Thrones Season 8. But HBO continues to tease the fans after dropping the latest GoT Season 8 trailer.
Winter has come and so is the much-awaited Game of Thrones Season 8 trailer. It’s been almost 2 years since the last Game of Thrones season and fans are still hungover about it. And now, HBO finally releases the first full trailer for Game of Thrones Season 8.
In the 2 minute trailer of the GoT’s final season, we can only say one thing. Breathtaking. For the whole duration of the trailer, I was holding my breath because each and every scene means something. The trailer opens with a bloody and frightened Arya, running away from an unknown enemy. What’s intriguing about this scene is that Arya is scared. And we know Arya, as an assassin, she no longer cowers in fear. Whatever’s chasing Arya must mean trouble.
Aside from that, it also shows Euron Greyjoy bringing back the Golden Company to Westeros. Also, we get to confirm that Tormund and Beric Dondarrion’s safety as they go back to Winterfell. Cersei gets her fair share of exposure, along with Qyburn, who seem to be brewing trouble for their enemies in the North.
But the best thing we’ve seen was the coming of Daenerys and Jon Snow back to Winterfell. Together with the dragons, Drogon and Rhaegar, they appear to arrive in Winterfell, with Sansa waiting. And it seems that Jaime Lannister will be joining them, after his disappearing act from Cersei in Season 7. As amazing as it sounds, Jon’s speech before the battle hits the mark of how dreadful enemies the White Walkers can be. It’s life and death for them and who knows whose death we might be witnessing, right?
We’ll still be seeing a lot of familiar faces, that may contribute hugely to the impending battle. The trailer ends with the Winterfell party, namely, Winterfell, the Unsullied, the Dothraki and the dragons waiting for their common enemy, the White King and the White Walkers. Like mentioned before, each episode will be more than an hour, so we can expect breathtaking and unpredictable moments that will surely have us on the edge of our seats.
