After the controversial ABS-CBN franchise denial causing the giant network to shut down, actor-comedian Vice Ganda has found a way to continue providing good vibes and entertainment to their fans.
Beginning July 24, Friday, the ABS-CBN star will be going live with his own digital network, which can be exclusively accessed on its official website, www.viceganda.com.ph.
What can we expect?
The Vice Ganda network will be featuring news on Vice’s projects, beauty tips, a sitcom, and an interactive game wherein viewers can join and get a chance to win exclusive prizes and giveaways. However, the most looked forward to project for the digital network is the upcoming online show called, “Gabing Gabi na Vice,” which will feature various celebrities.
“We as artists have to find our ways of reaching out to the audience and to serve our purpose,” said Vice during a press conference on Monday, July 20.
Through this all-new network, the ‘Praybeyt Benjamin‘ star seeks to help ABS-CBN workers who lost jobs following the ABS-CBN shutdown. In fact, he stated that they would be prioritizing retrenched ABS-CBN workers. “Dito lahat ang kailangan namin unahin i-accommodate ay ‘yung mga taga-ABS-CBN na wala munang pinagkakakitaan ngayon,” he said. “Kailangan ko buksan itong proyektong ito para makapag-extend ng help sa kanila,” shared Vice.
In addition to that, Vice also wants to help his fellow stand-up comedians who are currently out of work as comedy bars have been forced into closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “Bukod sa nagagawa nila ‘yung passion nila, karagdagan kita sa kanila, para sa mga bakla,” he said.
